Reimagining Urban Spaces
This exhibit seeks to visually inspire all of you and encourage small changes in methodology to preserve the migration of birds, bring pollinator populations back, and encourage hot zones to cool down. These pieces showcase both new and not-so-methods for providing for our common spaces. Each piece represents an actual location in Portland, Oregon. You are invited to take a peek inside these scapes and dream too.
A changing climate can be overwhelming, and participating can feel daunting. But there are local and smaller community actions we can all take to help keep the heat down, vegetation thriving, and access to all that the earth still has to offer. Life just needs to be allowed to grow, and we can provide those spaces in our cities. These small changes challenge centuries-old models that we need to abandon if we are to provide healthy environments for the future.
Long Live The Pollinators!!!
